Very useful, strong and practical for all sorts of occasions- great for camping.
We bought one of these was so impressed immediately turned around and bought a second one. We use these during our Overland trips to secure items inside the cargo area in our four door Jeep Wrangler. During our lengthy trip we had to dry out several items that got wet when caught in a rainstorm. Our usual clothesline was no match for the heavy clothing blankets Etc. That's where we realized just inside our Jeep we had the very thing we needed... these bungees.
These are so versatile and can be used with so many applications They are extremely durable unlike all other bungees I have ever used. I can't recommend these enough.
We got these to try out on our boat for when we anchor out next to other boats. They hold tight and are easily adjustable. They are perfect for people who don't know how to tie a boat line.
quality products, fast service.
Very good quality and looks like they would last. But they didn’t serve my needs so I had to order something else.
I have a dock on a creek that I use these on. It works fantastically to keep my boat in place when it's not on the lift. Just enough springiness to allow the boat to shift with the tide and with the small wakes of other boats going by. Looks and feels high quality
This Swift Grip 2 Pack of Adjustable Bungee Dock Lines is very handy to own. They work great on our boat - easy to secure and hold well. But they are super versatile - just very functional bungee lines for any purpose. The kit includes a storage case and 2 Bungee ropes. The 5 foot ropes have integrated 8” Velcro straps on each end, and then evenly spaced sections that make is easy to dock. The Bungee dock lines are well constructed and work great.
I use primarily to secure my kayaks & paddle boards in the back of my SUV (with seats down) and hold the cargo door shut -- since they stick out of the rear. I'm not experienced with this type of technique. Definitely much stronger than the traditional bungee cords I had been using for this task. Material also appears more durable to eventual fraying than traditional bungee cords. I need to get some carabiner clips to get more functionality out of it. Wish they came included. Then it would be 5 stars for me! A few product demo videos on their Amazon listing would be Helpful & I think boost sales. They do have a web site. Link to their site on Amazon would be helpful. I need to check out further.
We originally got these for our kayaks and tying up to docks. However, the bungee could be used for various things. They are very wellade, nice and sturdy and durable. I can see these lasting quite a Ling time
I've used this a couple of times to secure boxes in the back of my car and they work great! The boxes that I'm moving are full of fragile green or bisque ware that I'm taking to the kiln, they really can't slide around. These worked well and because they pack up nicely into their box, they get to just live in the car. Very handy and a great gift for a picky father in law, he's totally getting a one next year.
I haven’t had a chance to use these on the boat yet, but I took them out and looked at how dirty the lines were and how helpful they’re going to be. I love that it comes with its own carrying case so they are not easily lost. I often go shopping on my golf cart and need bungees to keep things from falling out. These are great for that. They’re taut enough to prevent things from moving but stretchy enough to stretch it across the beams.
Well, these are convenient. every time I pull the boat to the gas dock, it seems like their ropes are different, and a cleat is missing. I end up needing to pull the back engine compartment open to grab a launch rope to aid in the temporary tie-up. Also a stiff softpack for storage makes this pretty elegant, vs. some old ropes thrown at the bottom of the bumper area. These lines wrap up with some heavy duty modern velcro straps (each line has velcro wrap at each end. The lines also easily adjust. These are bungee-ish, so there is some give, which I like when tying boast togetherThese Swift Grips Heavy Duty 5 Foot Adjustable Bungee Dock Lines are my solution. Also will use these for tying boats together in flotilla. My dock mooring lines are in.Pretty satisfied with these.
This is not my childhood bungie. I grew up with the belief that you couldn't trust bungies; they were prone to breakage and also dangerous because of propensity to lose grip with the old wire hooks, snap back and cause eye injuries. This is an entirely different product than the bungies of old. They are thick. The stretch gets distributed along the cord so I don't think they will break where they go around corners. The Velcro hardware means no rust, no bending wire, no eye injuries. Very versatile especially when used with carabiners. I will use this outdoors, so my only question is how they will hold up to UV light exposure.

Well it's January and where we live boating season is over until Spring. But that doesn't mean these bungee lines can't be used away from the boat or the dock!I had to whip up a simple way to keep my tire chain and tow strap bag from sliding around in the bed of my truck. So a couple pieces of wood and a few minutes and I had a nice divider. I wanted to get the shovel out of my cab and I tossed it into the bed and I could here it go CLUNK when I come down the steep road and arrive at the stop sign. I thought about a bunch of complicated ways to fix this annoyance but I saw the solution hanging on my roll away box in the garage.I grabbed two inexpensive snap hooks from the local auto parts store and put one on each end of my Swift Grip. There are two tie down points in my bed that I attached each end to. Then I simply wrapped the Swift Grip around the handle of the shovel and that was that. I've also used it to keep stuff from sliding around in the other compartment you can see on the right nearest the tail gate.So until Spring makes its appearance this one bungee will see truck duty and if it works like I think it will I'll be buying another set... 2 for the truck and 2 for the boat.
Got this to help secure stuff in the back of our Honda Element. Very useful and versatile. Can reconfigure as Much as needed to make a small net, a rope, or anything else. I have many snap links already, and this should come with a few more to make full use of its capabilities.
Bungee is a bit thicker than 5/16" thick. Since is is looped, it is plenty strong to hold a boat tied to the dock. My boat is 20' long and this bungee should be plenty strong to hold it in place. I like that it has multiple loops to allow for varying lengths. Also comes in handy to secure the tops of the ice chests while towing the boat down the freeway. These bungees will hold the lids in place without any issues. As for build quality, I inspected them both and could not find any imperfections or poor workmanship. As for price, I find them a bit pricey. There may be cheaper ones out there, they may just not be as good as this set.
LOVE the zippered box to keep them in nice and tidy. I plan to use these for the pontoon boat for quick and easy dock straps. They should give the perfect amount of adjustment options to dock at any pier with anyone’s help pretty easily without much direction on how to use them. I’m super excited to have them on board this coming season. They seem quite heavy duty. I’ll have to give a review update in the fall though!
This is an excellent little bungee that is pretty much adjustable from under a foot to several feet, because of its loops. I like the little case that I comes in, that way it's easily contained and can fit in either the center console or the trunk. It's handy to keep in the car, and I've already used it once when items I purchased wouldn't comfortably fit in the closed trunk. So glad I ordered it!
This shock cord makes docking a breeze and provides a shock absorber connection too. A little give between dock and boat is an advantage by eliminating jerking, and the stretch allows pulling the line over a clete with no tying. Guests will not be flummoxed helping with the docking process. The key will be figuring the optimal location on your boat, but the bands are easily moved around. In many cases, these snubbers stretched and out of the way along the boat will make tying up fast. And keep one handy to reconfigure on the fly depending on dockage circumstances.
I had a poor opinion of bungees from the using them 30 years ago. They were considered very unsafe due to easy breakage and prone to injuring people when the old metal hooks failed. These modern bungee cords are a vast improvement. Very strong and can secure heavy awkward loads. I put plastic bins and duffel bags inside my boat when trailering and need to be able to secure them against flying out when going over bumps at highway speeds. This plus a couple of carabines makes them easy to secure. Remains to be seen how the covering holds up to UV exposure, which is always an unknown with untested marine products. I will come back and update at the end of next summer after a season of exposure.
While this comes in a nice zippered case the effort involved in lacing them up and trying to get the velcro attached is no small effort. I doubt these will spend much time in their case. These may be well suited for a traditional boat with mooring cleats, but my pontoon has eyebolts at the corners which mandate an actual dock line and bowline knot. My Tacoma, on the other hand, has cleat-like tiedowns along the bed rail and these work great for attaching things I don't want slipping around. Twin 5/16" bungee cords provide serious holding strength.
I really like the convenience and versatility of these cords. Seems this design has basically improved the entire bungee concept, making it improved. I don't use these for boats or docks, I use them for securing cargo in my full sized side by side and my pick up truck. But, they can be used virtually anywhere a bungee is needed. They come in a hard case zippered storage box. They look strong and well made. I believe they're a good value. 5 stars
These are very nice quality bungee lines......thinner and more compact than the cheaper woven nylon outer sheath lines. They coil up small and fit into a compact zipper case. They are 5 foot length in their retracted state, and require a significant amount of force to stretch them.....about 12 lbs. force to stretch them the first 6 inches.....which may be a bit stiff for lighter personal watercraft. The double cord is bound together at 9 inch intervals creating a series of loops which offer flexibility for managing slack when attaching to a cleat. Overall, these are very nice, and definitely heavy duty in terms of their stretch/rebound force.
This thing is awesome and versatile. Very good material was used and the carry case is a great addition. I think everyone should keep one of these in their vehicle, boat or bug out bag.
